While car manufacturers seek new technologies to ensure our driving pleasure isn’t at the price of the environment, we are taking our own action to offset our carbon footprint and that of our customers:
For every car that we sell throughout our four branches, we are making a financial contribution to the Tree Council of Ireland.
The Tree Council of Ireland is a voluntary organisation comprising 50 groups, statutory and voluntary, which was formed in 1985, to promote the planting, care and conservation of trees in both urban and rural areas and it aims to foster a tree and wood culture among Irish people through action and awareness
“The Tree Council is involved in all tree planting initiatives throughout the country and we are very pleased to be associated with this Motor Services Limited initiative to plant trees to offset the carbon produced by motor vehicles” said John McLoughlin, Executive Director of the Tree Council of Ireland. “Trees are very efficient at sequestering carbon and at producing oxygen and they do so in a natural way. Tree planting is the only method left to us of mitigating our higher carbon emissions."
