Design
The sportiest E-Class Coupé of all times.
The design modifications undertaken, particularly to the front sections of the E-Class Coupé, bring added improvements. The more dynamic impression comes with flatter headlamps which, even in the entry-level models, feature all-LED technology.
The “A-shape” design of the new diamond radiator grille, which is likewise standard on all versions, adds a particularly dynamic touch. The grille also features chrome-plated dots, a single louvre and the Mercedes star in the centre.
A new highlight of the muscular rear section is the completely redesigned inner workings of the two-piece tail lights, featuring LED technology.
As was already previously the case, the interior of the Coupé combines contemporary style with sporty luxury. The exceptionally high-quality materials selected, together with the quality of craftsmanship employed, serve to emphasise the car’s sporty, stylish character and exude outstandingly high-class appeal.

Performance
Dynamism in numbers.
The model choice and engine range will consist of petrol and diesel units.
Predominately the petrol versions will include the 4-cylinder units such as the 1991cc E200 (197 bhp) and E300 (258hp).
Equally the Diesel versions, are a 1597cc, E220d (194 bhp), a 1950cc, E220d 4MATIC (194hp) and a 2939cc, E400d 4MATIC (330hp).
Both engines are paired with the 9G-TRONIC transmission which has also been advanced for the second-generation ISG used with the four-cylinder engine. It also allows for the DYNAMIC SELECT which lets you adjust driving characteristics with a choice of modes: ECO, Comfort, Sport, Sport+ and Individual.

The innovations on the E-Class do not stop there. The new E-Class Coupé has the latest generation of Mercedes-Benz driving assistance systems providing helpful support to drivers. This results in an especially high level of active safety where the E-Class can react if the driver doesn’t. The hands-off recognition now works on a capacitive basis. This enhances user-friendliness when driving in semi-automated mode.
Also in conjunction with Mercedes Me, the two packages URBAN GUARD Vehicle Protection and URBAN GUARD Vehicle Protection Plus ensure monitoring of your parked vehicle.
URBAN GUARD includes an anti-theft alarm system, interior monitoring (triggers in case of movements in the interior) as well as a pre-installation for theft and parking collision detection. Whereby the vehicle sensors register when the parked and locked vehicle is bumped or towed, or when someone attempts to break into the vehicle.
While, URBAN GUARD Vehicle Protection Plus can identify the location of a stolen vehicle, even if the tracking function has been deactivated.
