Exterior design

The EQB interprets Mercedes-EQ’s Progressive Luxury in an edgy and particularly characterful way. It features the typical Mercedes-EQ black panel grille with central star. A further distinctive design feature of the all-electric world of Mercedes-EQ vehicles is the continuous light strip at front and rear.

The muscular and sensual developed vehicle shoulder dominates the side view, which is further enhanced by the rise of the beltline. Outwardly positioned wheels give the EQB a powerful character and confident stance on the road.

Interior design

On the inside the new EQB offers a generous amount of space and a maximum boot capacity of 1710 litres, thanks to having the long wheelbase of the GLB. The backrests in the second row can be adjusted in several stages as standard.

The EQB is an all-electric seven-seater SUV. It therefore offers space for many family journeys and the most diverse transport needs. This gives it an exceptional position among compact electric cars. The two seats in the third row can be used by people up to 1.65 metres tall, and child seats can also be fitted there.

The large body cockpit means the driver and the passenger faces a Widescreen Cockpit, with control and display via MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience). MBUX can be individually configured with the help of various options. Key advantages of the system: the powerful computer, brilliant screens and graphics, customisable presentation, full-colour head-up display, navigation with augmented reality and learning software and voice control activated by the keyword "Hey Mercedes".

Performance

With ranges up to 416 kilometres (WLTP) and an output of up to 215 kW the powertrain of the EQB also meets every expectation not only in the compact segment, but especially among electric cars. The high-voltage lithium-ion battery is the central energy storage unit for the EQB's electric drive and provides a usable energy content of 66.5 kWh.

Safety

The new generation of Mercedes-Benz Intelligent Drive.

To deliver the best or nothing, safety must come first with Mercedes-Benz. The EQB therefore is a true Mercedes-Benz when it comes to safety. As a close relative to the GLB, the EQB has been modified to ensure it meets the requirements of an electric vehicle.
