The BYD SEALION 5 is equipped with full-LED headlights to light the road ahead, along with slim LED daytime-running lights. Featuring an automatic on/off function, the headlights intelligently adapt to changing conditions on the road.
The full-width LED light bar and sharply angled full-LED tail-lights create a stylish look with an integrated roof spoiler, adding to the SEALION 5’s dynamic design.
The SEALION 5’s side profile combines a modern silhouette with strong wheelarch shoulders, while the contrasting D-pillar creates a distinctive look for a “floating roof” effect.

The BYD SEALION 5 benefits from BYD’s ground-breaking Super Hybrid with DM technology. DM stands for Dual Mode, and the system operates in two distinct ways – as a hybrid car, combining electric power and fuel, and as a fully electric car with up to 86km of pure-electric range thanks to the SEALION 5’s two Blade Batteries.
The system’s intelligent control (the ‘i’ in DM-i) improves efficiency during hybrid driving, with a combined fuel consumption of as little as 2.1L/100km. The SEALION 5 Super Hybrid’s range is 1016km when fully charged and with a full tank of petrol.
