BYD South Dublin Deansgrange Road Project Update

We wish to inform everyone of the ongoing roadworks on Deansgrange Road in relation to visiting us at BYD South Dublin.

Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council is moving forward with the Planning and Development for the Deansgrange Cycle Route Scheme. The Council’s main aim of this proposal is linked with the active school travel scheme aimed to provide students and parents with safe, direct and comfortable walking and cycling routes to schools. The project aims to also provide an alternative for families who do not or cannot drive, may not be able to avail of public transport or wish to travel to school on foot or by bike.

Unfortunately, this project means that access to our premises has been restricted due to the implementation of a one-way road on Deansgrange Road whilst construction for the cycle path is under place, but we are most certainly open for business as usual.

The one-way system will be installed on Deansgrange Road south of St Fintan’s Villas and continuing up to junction with Kill Lane. This will be in place for 6 months.

As per the illustration below, all customers will need to enter Deansgrange Road from the northern end and follow the one-way system until you reach the turn-off for our dealership. Diversions will be in place for anyone visiting from either side of Kill Lane and Clonkeen Road.
